Uncle Tom’s [Diversion branch has closed]

Uncle Tom’s stood the test of time, serving delicious food long before the others. Almost every week, there’s a new restaurant. Amidst all the fresh faces, Uncle Tom’s is a familiar landmark, standing in its spot for many, many years. It’s a place that many of us Ilonggos grew up with, a comforting presence that just feels like home. It’s part of our city’s food story and for good reason

Uncle Tom’s Menu

When you talk about Uncle Tom’s, two things immediately come to mind and are absolute must-tries: their famous fried chicken and their wings. Seriously, if you haven’t had them yet, you’re missing out! They’re perfectly crispy, juicy, and just packed with that classic flavor that keeps you coming back for more.

But while their chicken is legendary, Uncle Tom’s offers so much more than just that. Their menu is filled with all sorts of comforting dishes, from tasty pork and beef meals to fresh seafood, pancit, and vegetable dishes. There’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re craving a hearty meal or something light.

What We Had

On our last visit, we went for a classic combination that never disappoints. We enjoyed their perfectly cooked fried chicken (a mix of breast and thighs, of course!), tender pork back ribs, warm rice, generous servings of their delicious gravy, and refreshing coleslaw. Every bite was just as good as we remembered – satisfying and full of flavor.
