Travel between northern Iloilo and Aklan is now more convenient for commuters. Ceres Liner has launched a new direct route connecting Sara, Iloilo, and Kalibo, Aklan.
The bus service, which officially began operations on March 27, 2025, will traverse through Lemery, San Rafael, and Passi City, offering a direct transportation option for those traveling between the two provinces. This new route is expected to significantly ease travel for residents and visitors in these areas.

The fare from Sara to Kalibo costs P300 for regular passengers and P240 for discounted fares for senior citizens, students, and Persons With Disability (PWDs).

Kalibo to Negros via F.F. Cruz Shipping
For those journeying from Kalibo with Negros Island as their final destination, a newly available Ceres Bus route offers a convenient connection. This bus line will transport passengers nearer to the F.F. Cruz Shipping terminal situated in Barangay Bay-ang, Ajuy. At the Ajuy port, RoRo operated by F.F. Cruz Shipping provide regular trips to E.B. Magalona in Negros Occidental.
