Kuya J has been around in Iloilo for quite some time already serving a great selection of Filipino food. From its humble beginnings in Cebu, it is now bringing its flavors to Iloilo City. It has opened several branches already in the city.
This restaurant in Iloilo is good for solo, couple or large groups. They have a spacious space with tables and chairs.
Kuya J Menu
There is a wide option of Filipino food choices in Kuya J. Meal choices can be solo or can be good for sharing. Also, please a lot some patience because of the cooking and preparation time. Remember that this is not a fast food chain so the food and your orders are being prepared carefully.
What we had
We had bulalo and crispy pata, ube halo halo and saba halo halo for dessert.
How to Get There
This Kuya J branch is at Festive Walk Mall so the most convenient ride for now is Mandurriao SM City. People from the city can conveniently get a ride at Valeria Street, preferably at McDo Marymart area, Delgado Street at SM Delgado, portions of Mabini and General Luna Streets and also Diversion Road. Ideal loading areas are also at SM Strata and Carlos Bakeshop.
Their servings may be big so you can come here in a group. When I visited here, I was with my mom. There are only the two of us. You can also request to take out your leftover food.
Surely Iloilo has opened its doors to other flavors from different provinces. Ilonggos now has varied option and will never ran out again of places where they can take their friends and families during special occasions or just an ordinary day to dine and enjoy each other’s presence.
