Monkey Grounds: Plant-Based Life

Plant-based dishes are now making a trend in the restaurants in Iloilo. Choosing such places to eat gives customers the option to order something which is a healthier choice without noticing the vegetable taste.

With it’s unique ambiance, modern interior and exclusive menu option, Monkey Grounds is the place you must try.

What We Had

A lot. We keep on coming from time to time. (I love it because they accept GCash – sustainable payment option through cashless transaction). I am a kind of person who has unique circles of friends tailored for my personality so I am coming here with different set of people – my college friends, colleagues or ex-colleague.

I just make sure to order a different meal so I can have the chance to taste a new one from the menu. Every visit, I am just adding the meals we have ordered for the day.

How to Get There

As mentioned, the location is unique. It is located beside a main road (Diversion Road) but it is seldom noticeable.  It is actually located on the loading and unloading area of Oton Jeepney near Bangga Atria – yes in the overpass going across the location of Iloilo City Center (Timesquare or New Gaisano).

Car owners can park their cars inside the building. For commuters, the most convenient rides you can have are the ones passing by the Diversion Road. People coming from the city can ride: SM City Proper, Mandurriao SM City, Ungka ITGSI, Leganes Highway, Pavia, Sta. Barbara and also the same jeepneys if you are headed to the city’s direction.

They now have both indoor and outdoor seating options.
