I Joined VISOR’s “Die-Cast” Giveaway as Sa Lugar Lang

Last April 16, 2024, VISOR ran a giveaway of “die-cast” scale models sent to them by Blue and Yellow Diecast Toys which are Suzuki Jimny tissue cases!

Tried my luck as Sa Lugar Lang and here was my answer-entry:

Hi Visor!

I am Sa Lugar Lang (Ilonggo’s way of saying “Para Po” when passengers have to alight). I dedicate a portion of my time to answering the question “ano sakyan ko” (what jeepney to ride from one place to another) in Iloilo areas. This is a volunteer work. The government or private sector does not pay me.

I find it great because I feel like I am taking the commuters to their dreams – entrance exams to their preferred schools, job interviews, offices where people are processing documents, local and foreign tourists, or simply natives who may not be familiar, especially of the newly-implemented routes brought by the new transport plan.

It’s a happy content creation because I feel like I am solving one of the 99 problems of commuters here.

The diecast model has been on my shopping cart for a while because I wanted to take one as I familiarize and document the streets and thoroughfares for future questions to answer.

It could be the best model with Iloilo scenes in the background to make the content more visual.

Thank you for the opportunity.

I hope I’ll win but if not, I will still check out that item on my cart, SOON!
