Big Mug Cafe is a coffee shop and snack house located right in front of Central Philippine University main gate. It looks like a small place outside but surprisingly cozy, classy and spacious outside. They also offer a good range of menu in a student-friendly pricing.
It is so nice to have something comfy to have a quick snacks while waiting for your next class. Scanning few notes before exams and recitation or a nice place to talk with your group mates the project you will do or the reporting you need to carry out in the upcoming days.

What We Had
We had coffee of course. Iced coffee. We also tried their burger and silog meal. Tocilog in particular. They serve breakfast food all day. We did not miss the chance also to try their version of wintermelon milk tea.
How to Get There
As mentioned, this is located right in front of Central Philippine University (main gate) and the most convenient ride would be the Jaro routed jeepneys especially Jaro CPU, Jaro CPU Ungka and Pavia La Paz is also passing by the area.
The place plays a fine instrumental music so it is perfect if you are catching few pages to study or making reports. It is also ideal for catch up, meetings or chit chats. There are tables and chairs available for solo, duo and groups. Instagrammable areas are also available for endless photo opportunities.
