WOK Street Menu
What We Had
We had a lot. We tried their Beef Tendon Noodle Soup, Tiger Prawn Laksa, Tom Yum Noodle Soup, Dan Dan Noodle Soup, Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef), Tori Karaage, Ebi Tempura and Yakitori platter.
My personal favorite is the Beef Tendon Noodle Soup, Chinese-inspired, NZ beef, tendon, Taiwan pechay and egg noodles. If you are into noodle soup, I personally recommend trying this first. Laksa and Tom Yum do not disappoint also.
My companions love the Tori Karaage. It is a Japanese fried chicken, togarashi and cabbage slaw. We even had to order again.
The rest we had and surely the rest in the menu is absolutely worth the try too.
How to Get There
WOK Street is located along Jalandoni Street, Jaro, Iloilo City. It is across The Galleria and nested in at the back of old 70N location. For public commuters, the best jeepney to ride is Leganes – coming from SM City Iloilo going to Leganes.
For Jaro jeepneys, you may drop off at corner of E. Lopez and Jalandoni Streets. You can ride a traysikad (pedicab) or walk a block to reach the area.
To learn more about the other route, please see: New Route Iloilo Jeep
WOK Street has recently opened their VIP area. This is air-conditioned and you can book it for your private events or meetings. The capacity is at 32 pax, maximum.
We may not be able to travel the whole Asia but through this food place, we will get the chance to have a taste the flavors of various countries.
