The popularity of Samgyupsal houses in Iloilo City continued to rise this past few years. This amazingly simple yet delicious pork belly recipe has taken the city slowly. Almost every month, there is a new place to try. The literal translation of “samgyupsal” is three layered meat pertaining to the flesh, fat and skin.
The looks of it makes it more enticing to grill, adding that side dishes and wrap them in a piece of lettuce exactly what we see with our favorites idols and mains in every group and kdrama we watch.

They offer unlimited grill. The price would only matter if you come in two or group. They do accept reservation and it is recommended if you could make your reservations so you don’t have to wait in the queue.
What we Had
We had rounds of samgyupsal. It included three kinds of meat and four side-dishes. Side dishes may vary.
The place has many tables and chairs but because there are a lot of people coming in also, the place is always full. They only open on specific hours – lunchtime and dinnertime.
How to Get There
This is located along Jalandoni Street in Jaro. This is in the Galleria building just in the ground floor; just across 70N. The only route that passes here at the moment is the Leganes Highway which comes from SM City Iloilo area.
Other options could be Jaro routed jeepneys where you can just drop off in corner E-Lopez and Jalandoni Streets (Jollibee) and walk two blocks or ride a pedicab or tricycle.
