Saad, a Hiligaynon word for vow is an annual festival that highlights the cultural dance- drama presentation celebrating the birth of their most beloved religious icon, their Patron Saint, St. Vincent Ferrer, popularly known as the “Angel of Healing.”

The Palapak or the act of pressing the image of a saint on the head of a devotee is re-enacted into the dance. It is a popular faithful who practice amongst many suffer from various ailments hoping that a miracle might happen through the patron’s intercession.

Much of the music has a definite local flavour where dancers in traditional Filipino costumes and wearing scapulars ance with joy to praise their patron and ends with shouts of ” San Vicente Ferrer, Igampo Mo Kami!”
