JD Burger Project is a burger place by JD Bakery Cafe. From the name itself, you will have a clue that mainly, they serve burgers. It is housed in the same building where the OG JD is located.
This is my first dining experience in the “new normal”. Seats and tables are arranged in a way where there is enough distance from each other. It was not also the usual setup where it is packed with customers that you can barely find a seat but it is evident that they are getting lots of orders because food delivery guys keep on coming in and out.
Avid fans are enjoying the taste of the burgers at the comforts of their houses or offices – to mitigate also the possible spread of the virus.

As mentioned from the name itself, you will expect a selection of burgers in their menu. But aside from burgers, they also offer other choices such as fries and chicken fingers.
What We Had
We had a variety of their burger offerings – Classic, Don Emilio and Crispy Chicken Sandwich. We also had their fries and chicken fingers.
During our visit, they gave out free ube ice cream.
How to Get There
JD Burger Project is located along General Luna Street. It is housed in JD Roadhouse – the similar building where JD Bakery Café is situated. The most convenient rides are jeepneys passing along General Luna Street namely Baluarte Derecho from Molo areas; Villa Mohon and Baybay from Arevalo areas; SM City Proper from Diversion areas; Molo Mandurriao and SM City Mandurriao from Mandurriao areas. For those who are from Jaro and La Paz areas may take a Jaro Liko NFA or La Paz jeepney and can drop by corner General Luna – Jalandoni Streets and walk a little to reach JD Roadhouse.
