The list of Iloilo City Holidays for 2026 is up. Iloilo City is adhering to the national holidays and special non-working holidays. There are also additional local holidays celebrated in the city.
For Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, the official announcement will come from the Office of the President. There are no specific dates for these events because Islamic holidays are determined according to the Islamic calendar. I created placeholders only and will update them once the proclamations are available.
Lastly, local holidays are in black and observed in Iloilo City and selected areas of Panay and Guimaras only.

Computation of Compensation for National Regular Holidays
Employee’s regular workday
If the employee did not work, the employee shall be paid 100% of his/her daily rate – (Daily Rate – 100%)
If worked, employee shall be paid 200% of his/her daily rate for the 8 hours – (Daily Rate – 200%)
Excess of 8 hours – plus 30% of the hourly rate on said day
Employee’s rest day
If the employee did not work – 100%
If the employee worked – 1st 8 hours – plus 30% of 200%
Excess of 8 hours – plus 30% of the hourly rate on said day
Compensation for National Special Holidays
For declared special days such as Special Non-working Day, Special Public Holiday, Special National Holiday, in addition to the two national special days, November 1 (All Saints Day) and December 31 (Last Day of the Year), the following rules shall apply:
If the employee did not work
No additional pay, unless it is in the company policy.
If the employee worked
First eight (8) hours – plus 30% of the daily rate of 100%
Excess of eight (8) hours – plus 30% of the hourly rate on said day
Falling on the employee’s rest day, the employee worked.
First eight (8) hours – plus 50% of the daily rate of 100%
Excess of eight (8) hours – plus 30% of the hourly rate on said day
Special Working Holidays
If the employee performs his work, he is entitled only to his basic rate. Therefore, no premium pay. It is considered work on ordinary working days.
