Sabores de Visayas Year 4: Bigger and Better

Sabores de Visayas aims to showcase the rich culinary heritage of Western Visayas. Each year, the said event gathers respected chefs from all over the Philippines and invite food businesses to bring in the diverse flavors of Western Visayas and give Ilonggos the best of the best gastronomic experiences.

Iloilo: The Food Haven of the Philippines

In partnership with the Department of Tourism Region VI, the founder of Sabores de Visayas, Chef Rafael Jardeleza Jr., Iloilo continues to be “The Food Haven of the Philippines” making it one of the country’s premiere culinary destination. Chef Tibong’s dedication and passion has kept the Western Visayas the place where people gather together to experience a one-of-kind culinary experience. Making it indeed always more fun in the Philippines.

Chef Sherwin Tee

Chef Sherwin is the host of the weekly cooking and talk show airing on GMA News TV “Let’s Do Lunch”. Moreover, he is also a restaurant consultant, an author of the book “So You Want to be a Chef” and a regular contributor on the Philippine Star “The Baconman Cometh”.

Chef Maridel Uygonco

Chef Maridel is Iloilo’s very own award-winning pastry chef. She is the icon behind Maridel’s and Bakery by Chef Louis.

Chef Chele Gonzalez

Chef Chele is the icon behind Gallery by Chele and a finalist on the Best Chef Awards 2018 in Italy. He is a part of Philippine Tatler Magazine’s Top 20 Restaurants and the Most Inventive Chef 2019 Manila, Philippines

Chef Sandy Daza

Chef Sandy is the Footprints and Casa Daza cooking show host. He is a restaurateur, food critique and a certified Foodie! He is willing to travel anywhere to try new food finds.

Chef Rafael “Tibong” Jardeleza

Chef Tibong is the Founder of Sabores de Visayas and Tabu-an Ilonggo Heritage Cooking Competition. He is the owner of Rafael’s la Cocina del Sur and he is also currently the Executive Chef Consultant of Café del Prado at Hotel del Rio.
