Every 2nd week of December

The of town Banate will celebrate the bounty of its seas and tourism through Kasag Festival. Highlighted by the tribal dance competition, it showcases crabbing is part of its presentation. Crabbing is a major part of Banate’s heritage and crab feasts are a favourite local tradition of food and fun.

Kasag Festival began in 2007 to market its popular industry, a well-known and popular food among llonggos. It is organized and produced annually by the municipal government for the beneft of the residents of Banate.
