Chodam Korean Restaurant is your ultimate destination if you are looking for sumptuous and authentic Beef and Pork Bulgogi. Chodam’s menu is only composed of pure Korean meals that you can try everyday – from Samgyupsal to Soju – Chodam has them.
The name Chodam came from one of the villages in South Korea. It is located in Uptown Center (previously where Arirang was).

Chodam is currently the Korean Restaurant I personally visited which really has a wide array of authentic Korean choices. They serve main dishes, stew, and meals with rice, noodles, relish, lunch boxes, drinks and liquors!
What We Had
We had medium beef bulgogi, mandu and ojingeo bokkeu. In Chodam, when you order a minimum of P300, you get a chance to refill the side dishes – unlimited. There is also no time limit – you can stay longer.
Chodam’s ambiance is really different. You can consider this an almost upscale place. It is best for family lunch and dinner, friends’ reunions, meet-ups, celebration and even you just want to eat solo or with your date it is an ideal place.
There is a spacious parking space and the location is also just along the way.
How to Get There
Chodam is conveniently located at General Luna Street. It is in Uptown Center (the same building with 7/11; the one in front of UPV). There are a lot of public transport available also. Here are some options:
For people coming from Molo, Villa and Mandurriao, Baluarte Derecho, Villa Mohon and Baybay, Mandurriao Molo and SM City and HIbao-an and Savannah jeepneys are passing by the area.
SM City Proper from SM City is also passing by here.
You can also ride jeepneys that are passing by UP Stoplight and walk a little such as Leganes, Ungka ITGSI, Sta. Barbara, Pavia and other interior routed jeepneys.
There are already a number of Asian Restaurant in Iloilo especially Korean Restaurants. It is a good experience sometimes to try something new because Korean Cuisine is more than just Ramyun and Samgyupsal – there are a lot more you must try that are available in Chodam.
