Here’s to another Reddit Iloilo Meetup – the venue this time is at SM City Southpoint. The scheduled time for the meetup is around 6:30ish and before that we decided to join first the 2017 Korean Film Festival where we watched “My Brilliant Life”.
Ahreum: Does it (soju) tastes good?
Mr. Jang: It tastes foul.
A: Why do you keep on drinking?
J: Do you stop living because life is foul?— Sheila Mae Gomez (@shemaegomez) September 23, 2017
Korean films are really something that are best when it comes to playing with emotions – will bring you tears and laughter.

Right after the movie, we grabbed something to eat and headed to Cafe Diem for coffee. The place is perfect not just for people seeking for a different ambiance but also for Potterhead like me.

Here are the food that you can have with their respective prices at the moment:

Before the meetup proper, this day also became an instant mini reunion with former colleagues as Cris was here for the meetup and Cherrie and Alen were doing some shopping.
As we eat, we’ve also noticed their rest room. It’s like the Room of Requirement.
Me: Why do you think it is the Room of Requirement?
Cris: Because it is the room that appears when you need it the most.
How To Get There
From the city, you can ride SM City Proper and you will never lose your way. Other PUJs that are passing by the area are Leganes, Ungka ITGSI, Mandurriao SM City and other interior routes jeepney like Pavia and Sta. Barbara.
Their cup of coffee is enough to fill even the appetite of Hagrid. Their butterbeer is a must-try – wizard, squib or muggle.
Bonus for the Night
While we are waiting for Cris’ awesome father to drive us safely, we made use of the time to take pictures from the Southpoint’s attraction. There is also a live band every Friday and Saturday that you can jam with your friends and family – for free.
