Iloilo City, one of the highly-urbanized cities in the Philippines is slowly becoming one of the country’s place to boasts impressive art galleries in Iloilo City and in the country from various seasoned Ilonggo artists. From being a part of Google Business Group’s Iloilo Art Gallery Tour, here are some of the most vibrant art galleries in Iloilo City.
Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Arts
ILOMOCA is the city’s 1st art gallery showcasing contemporary works of both local and foreign artists. This 3-storey museum houses separate galleries – Hulot, Gallery, Adoracion Valencia Gallery and The Box. There is also a museum shop at the 1st floor where you can buy great souvenirs that are truly Ilonggo.

Gallery i
Gallery I is the home of the artworks of the members of Hubon Ilonggo. The place is also known as The Casa Real Gallery. This gallery is located at the heart of the present past – a part of Calle Real Center. Gallery I is located at the second floor or E. Villanueva building and has been standing strong for the last 90 years. It was the respected International Hotel in the year 1927 and restored in the last 2012.

YUsay-consing / Molo Mansion
Yusay-Consing or Molo Mansion is a significant and historic mansion in Molo. It has been a silent witness of the district’s development from the past to the present. Currently, the artworks of selected Himbon artists are on display on the second floor. The inside and outside parts of the house is preserved as a heritage museum. The place is also showcasing the local Ilonggo products, delicacies and artworks.
The art scenes in Iloilo is very active nowadays. From time to time, exhibits from seasoned Ilonggo artists happen in different art galleries in Iloilo City.
