Alis Chao Long and Cafe introduces a very brave food contender which presents itself to Ilonggo market in a form of soup, noodles and condiments – Chao Long. Challenging the king and queen of soup in the city – Batchoy and Pancit Molo with the note-worthy kansi, linaga and pata; not to mention the foreign soups slowly invading the hearts and stomach of Ilonggo – Ramen, Wonton and Laksa.
This dish is very famous in Palawan (where I was able to try it first). It is like a porridge of Vietnam which combines a flavorful soup, pork offal’s, local herbs and spices and their special noodles.

How to Get There
At first, I thought it would be difficult to reach the place. I have asked several CPU Ungka driver but they are not yet familiar with the place. I just utilized the instructions being told by previous customers posting all over social media.
The best jeepney you can ride is the Jaro CPU or CPU Ungka jeepneys. It is the road going to NBI. It is on the left side of the road, fronting Barangay Tinapay bakery. If you were not able to see it, just drop by NEDA or NBI. It is very near the area.
You may ride La Paz jeepney and other jeepneys passing by Plaza Libertad and ride a pedicab or tricycle going to NBI area.
