Alicia’s Batchoy is slowly getting its name recognized when it comes to batchoy. Batchoy is a very popular noodle soup dish in Iloilo and if everyone is claiming to be “the original”. Alicia’s on the contrary is not competing to be the original but it has made its name line up for Batchoy recommendations.
With all due respect to the big names of batchoyan, Alicia’s is a place where Ilonggos and tourists can also get a good bowl. Their broth can compete, served hot and Alicia’s ingredients like crushed pork cracklings, chicharon, puto, and pandesal are comforting.
