Traveling solo? Then have the resort all to yourself. There’s nothing like cool cocktails at Bearland’s very own ‘Infinity Sunken Bar’ when everybody else has gone home for the day.

How To Get There

If you’re traveling from Iloilo City, simply take a Tigbauan, Guimbal, Miagao, or San Joaquin jeepney. You can also catch a ride at any Antique-bound bus. The entire journey is more or less 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic, weather, and other factors.

Just tell the driver to drop you off at the intersection going to Bearland. You will see a huge banner introducing the resort near the road’s edge, so you can’t miss it. Once there, it’s about 500 meters by foot or by tricycle. Don’t worry – there’ll be signs along the way so you definitely won’t get lost!

Choosing Your Bearland Resort Experience

Since 2012, Bearland Resort has been catering to folks who want the best of both worlds: a quiet, secure getaway that’s not too far from the convenience of the urban jungle. That’s why it’s a popular destination, especially during the hot summer months (March to May).

If you’re planning your trip, the rainy season isn’t such a bad time to book your stay. After all, fewer guests mean more space and solace for you (and whoever you’re bringing along). The reception area is where walk-in guests and those with reservations begin their memorable Bearland escape. A quick registration and you’re all set to pick which experience is right for you.

Day-trippers will love their cozy cottages that are suitably situated near the pool, BBQ area, the restaurant, and their bakery. Just walk a couple of steps and you’re already at the beach. Cook your own food (note: corkage fees), or experience fine dining at the Pavilion. We recommend the tasty Pancit Canton and mouth-watering grilled chicken!

Whatever your preference, be sure to drop by their Infinity Pool and Jacuzzi for a relaxing dip. Meanwhile, kids can go crazy at the Kiddie Pool (it has fountains and a water slide!).

Don’t forget to order a refreshing drink at the Sunken Bar. Imagine staring at the beautiful silhouette of Guimaras Island, while sipping a margarita and enjoying the cool water of the pool. You can also just lounge by the poolside, taking in the blue skies and letting jumbled thoughts slip away.

As the sun sets, book a massage to ease your way to a good night’s rest. A good massage – and ice cream! – is a great way to end a day full of swimming, eating, laughing, and chatting with loved ones. If you’re on your own, go strolling along the beach as you listen to the gentle lapping of the waves. After all, people say it’s therapeutic.
