The Iloilo Fish Port Complex (Fishing Port) is a major center of fish trading and marine products processing in the region. The fishing port is the traditional landing site of bag netters and other fishing bancas in Iloilo City and nearby towns. Additional tips

  1. This is not an upscale area. Please manage your expectations. The setup is usually a bamboo or wooden table, Monoblock chairs, and tarpaulin or sacks as the roof and wall.
  2. Some groups are bringing their own cake in case your visit is for a birthday celebration or you just feel like eating a cake.
  3. Wear comfortable clothes. It is best to wear slipper or rubber footwear. Refrain from wearing your white sneakers and high-heels.
  4. Bring mosquito repellant lotion, alcohol, wipes, and other essentials you may need.
