Southern Grind Bistro is another restaurant in Iloilo you must check out. It is an American restaurant and Iloilo is lucky to have this franchise opened in Festive Walk Mall. Their specialty is steak but as their tagline says, yes they are more than just steak.
They have a cozy place and a peaceful and homey ambiance. You can enjoy your meals here, meet-ups, meetings, family celebrations, or just “me time”.

At first glance, you can have the first impression that they’re expensive. Once you understand what they offer, you will realize that what you will pay is worth it. For example, their St. Louis steak would cost 600+php but actually, this amount already includes 3 side dishes and rice. Their nachos would cost 340php but they can actually feed 4-5 persons.
What We Had
We had St. Louis steak during our first visit. Then, they run their promotion and we tried their Chinahot Wings and Nachos.

How to Get There
This branch of Southern Grind Bistro is located at Festive Walk Mall (2F Veranda). It is on the same floor as Macao Imperial Tea. The most convenient ride going in the area is Mandurraio SM City. 2nd District jeepney like Leon, Alimodian, and San Miguel is also passing by the area – the ones going to Jaro Big Market.
Special Story
Southern Grind Iloilo employees are great. They know what they offer, they know well how to explain the menu, their inclusion, their promos and they even know where to find a specific meal in their menu card. They are also fast and keen in getting the orders, special instructions from the customers and very attentive to details. We feel like they love their job so much that they take the extra mile in improving their product knowledge.
