I came across this discussion last night from Reddit and I did a long answer for three options on How to Commute from Silay City to Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 (Iloilo City). I am transferring the answer here in case there might be those who are also having the same inquiry.
Option 1 Via E.B. Magalona (F.F. Cruz RoRo)
From Silay to EB Magalona Port
- From your barangay in Silay, board a northbound Ceres or jeep going to Brgy. Alicante, E.B. Magalona.
- Then board a tricycle going to the port area.
- Board F.F. Cruz RoRo to Ajuy, Iloilo.
From Ajuy to Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 (Iloilo City)
- From the Bay-ang Port, board a tricycle until the highway.
- From the highway, board any Ceres Bus going to Tagbak Terminal.
- From Tagbak Terminal, board a jeep going to Jaro Plaza. You can choose from any of the following:
- From Jaro Plaza, board a jeep going to Mandurriao where Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 is. You can board either of the following:
Option 2A Via Bacolod City (RoRo)
From Silay to Bacolod
- From Silay, board a Silay jeepney going to Northbound Terminal
- Northbound Terminal, sometimes there are jeepneys going straight to BREDCO but if there’s none, you can board a Mandalagan Libertad jeepney going to El Camino.
- El Camino, you can board a tricycle or pedicab going to BREDCO where you can board a RoRo going to Dumangas.
From Dumangas to Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 (Iloilo City)
- From Dumangas, board a tricycle going to the highway where you can board a Dumangas jeep.
- Then board a Dumangas jeep going to Tagbak Terminal.
- From Tagbak Terminal, board a jeep going to Jaro Plaza. You can choose from any of the following:
- From Jaro Plaza, board a jeep going to Mandurriao where Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 is. You can board either of the following:
Option 2B Via Bacolod City (Fastcraft)
From Silay to Bacolod
- From Silay, board a Silay jeepney going to Northbound Terminal
- Northbound Terminal, sometimes there are jeepneys going straight to BREDCO but if there’s none, you can board a Mandalagan Libertad jeepney going to El Camino.
- El Camino, you can board a tricycle or pedicab going to BREDCO where you can board a Fastcraft going to Iloilo City.

From Iloilo Fastcraft Terminal to Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. 6 (Iloilo City)
- From Iloilo Fastcraft Terminal, you can board ROUTE 1 BO. OBRERO, LAPUZ TO CITY PROPER LOOP, or tricycle going to Socorro Drugstore.
- From Socorro Drugstore, board a ROUTE 13 HIBAO-AN TO CITY PROPER VIA TABUCAN HUB LOOP going to Civil Service Commission Regional Office VI.
