The very first experience I had with JD was when I was still in my elementary years when a box of assorted bar cookies was my favorite contribution during Christmas parties. The branch in Citadel was the most proximate so it has always been a go-to merienda place. Palabok was then sold below 20php same with ginata-an. During lunch, we would join a long queue and see if their barbecue and atsara is still available. That was the friendliest lunch set for student’s pockets.
Years after that, JD has remained to be our go-to place when we crave budget-friendly Ilonggo favorites. From snacks, desserts, cakes, and pasalubong.
