The night kicked off on a high note as we gathered for Sun Life’s Live Bright Trivia Night. Before the games even began, we were treated to a delightful spread from Bite: Bakery & Kitchen. The meal was both comforting and satisfying—featuring savory beef, sweet and sour dishes, rice, and creamy carbonara. It was the perfect way to fuel up for the exciting competition ahead.
Forming Team Luminary
I found myself seated among a diverse group of participants, which made the experience even more engaging. Before the trivia proper began, we had to decide on a team name—a crucial step in setting the tone for the night. After some quick brainstorming, we proudly became Team Luminary, a name that reflected both brightness and brilliance.
The Game Begins
The event was formally opened by Ms. Marga Perral, Regional Sales Manager of Visayas at Sun Life Philippines. Her opening remarks energized the room and set the stage for a lively and competitive evening.
Originally, the program included nine exciting trivia rounds. Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, the Karaoke round had to be skipped. Despite this minor setback, the energy in the room never dipped. Each team remained fully engaged, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter, quick thinking, and intense brainstorming.
A Competitive and Fun-Filled Atmosphere
Throughout the night, everyone showed their competitive spirit. Ideas were exchanged rapidly within teams, and you could feel the excitement building after every question. It wasn’t just about winning—it was about teamwork, creativity, and enjoying the moment.
