The very first experience I had with JD was when I was still in my elementary years when a box of assorted bar cookies was my favorite contribution during Christmas parties. The branch in Citadel was the most proximate so it has always been a go-to merienda place. Palabok was then sold below 20php same with ginata-an. During lunch, we would join a long queue and see if their barbecue and atsara is still available. That was the friendliest lunch set for student’s pockets.
Now, I have lost track of how many and where their other branches are located. But when we have the time, JD has remained our go-to place when we crave budget-friendly Ilonggo favorites from snacks, desserts, cakes, and pasalubong.
