Iloilo City Cultural Heritage: Don Roque Locsin Sanson Mansion (Harp Fence)

Don Roque Locsin Sanson Mansion (Harp Fence) is the ancestral house in Molo, Iloilo City along Lopez-Jaena St. built by spouses Don Roque Locsin Sanson and Doña Isabel Soriano Araneta de Sanson. This property was passed on to their eldest child Alfredo Araneta Sanson married to Matilde Jalandoni Montinola de Sanson.

The “Antillan House” in Jaro they, likewise, inherited is now owned by Alfredo and Matilde’s eldest son Gregorio “Greg” Montinola Sanson married to Marilou Lorca Tirol-Sanson after an extra-judicial partition proceeding among the four brother-heirs.
