Boy Zugba: Not Your Ordinary Restaurant

1

Boy Zugba is not your ordinary restaurant. Boy Zugba came out from the idea that it was high time for a new way of dining. The brand wanted to change the common way of enjoying our local dishes and show a completely new way to dine that can be connectively delicious, entertaining, and even funny.

With Ilonggos now going back to our daily life, Boy Zugba in SM City Iloilo invites every family and barkada to dine and enjoy the camaraderie as we highlight our best-selling boodle fight menus: I Sea Food, Karen-Vorous, and Meet Me At The Sea. The Iloilo branch is owned by an Ilongga who is very much fond of seeing families and barkadas enjoying their food with bare hands. Such brings her back to her roots who grew up with delicious food at the table.

What We Had

Boodle fight or also known as kinamot or kinamut in Visayan languages is the traditional Filipino method of eating with bare hands. It is also used to describe the Filipino communal feast where food is served on banana leaves and eaten without utensils. This serves as an activity that will gather family members as well as neighbors to enjoy the food together.
