Masskara Festival 2024 is here! Happening on October 27 in Bacolod City, the “City of Smiles,” the Masskara Festival is a vibrant celebration of Negrense culture and life.
The word “Masskara” means “mass” or a multitude of people, and “kara,” also written as Cara, is a Spanish word for face; hence, the multitude of faces wearing colorful masks became the popular annual MassKara Festival, which brings both domestic and foreign travelers to Bacolod City.
The festival features performers adorned with smiling and colorful masks expressing merriment and festivity, giving birth to Bacolod’s moniker as the “City of Smiles.”
If you are in Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, or Antique, F.F. Cruz Shipping offers stress-free travel to Bacolod City either as a passenger or through Ro-Ro because of its convenience, comfort, safety, and affordability.
