UswagTracer App is the Iloilo City Central Contact Tracing System. Iloilo City is one of the places in the region with active coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases. Mayor Jerry Treñas has been looking for anything that they can do to help lower the transmission rate. As well as ultimately reduce the number of new and active cases lists in the city. UswagTracer application is an automated contact tracing system hoping to provide complete contact identification. Also, it enable follow-ups more safely and in real-time.
Guidelines on How to Acquire the QR Code
Based on Executive Order No. 005, Series of 2021, signed by Treñas last January 19, 2021, below are the guidelines on how to acquire the QR code for different registrants:
For the residents of the City of Iloilo who would like to avail of the UswagTracer QR Code shall coordinate with their Barangay Secretaries for facilitation of their registration.
For the non-residents who are working in Iloilo City will be registered by their respective company or employer in order to avail of their UswagTracer QR Code.
Non-residents who are visiting the City or transacting in public and government offices may avail of their QR Codes by presenting one (1) valid ID from any of the following registration sites:
- Iloilo City Hall
- Malls in Iloilo City
- Airport and Seaport
Each QR Code is unique and permanent per individual and is likewise non-transferrable.
How to Register
To register and get a QR Code, applicants must give their name, age, birth date, email address (if any), complete address, gender, and mobile number. The QR Code will soon be required prior to entering business establishments as well as government offices to make contact tracing a lot easier.
