Iloilo City Government Facebook Page happily shared that Value Rice Inc., a Manila-based company but an Ilonggo-owned business has donated to the city today.
A total of five hundred (500) sacks of premium rice for Uswag Kitchen Patrol and other Community Kitchens around the city. The mayor said that the donation is very timely. Even the city is no longer placed under enhanced community quarantine, the city will still continue in extending help in its constituents especially to the frontliners who needs to continue staying vigilant in their responsibilities.
The mayor personally thanked his friend and his family because they have extended their help to their fellow Ilonggos especially during this pandemic.
