DPWH Repairs and Repaints Underpass

DPWH has successfully repaired and repainted the underpass of the Iloilo Bridge. This is for a safer crossing of pedestrian, PWDs and cyclist. No need to pass the main road to cross Senator Benigno Aquino Jr Avenue but as an alternative, Ilonggos can now pass more comfortably under the bridge without the fear of getting hit by the automobiles in the main road.

Due to the number of request and suggestions made by people, the repair and repainting is now completed.

Before, During and After Photos

Iloilo City is even more vibrant with the efforts of the Department of Public Works and Highways. The Benigno Aquino Avenue’s brick pathways were repainted after years of discoloration. It was turned back to its glorious color to create a brilliant pathway for our residents to pass by. Ilonggos are happy to see have the partner agencies help with the maintenance of our beautification project that develops the Ilonggos’ perspective and promote tourism.
