The annual “Christmas Parol of Hope” project is a partnership between the Iloilo City Government and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Iloilo for three years now.
The initiative has provided hope to project beneficiaries, the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), who crafted the traditional Christmas decors at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BMJP).
Some 2,000 giant, colorful star lanterns and angels adorn main thoroughfares as the metropolis embraces the festive mood of the Yuletide season.
