50th Iloilo Paraw Regatta 2023

Iloilo and the world are ready to sail again through the waters of Iloilo Strait as Paraw Regatta is sailing again this March. Save the date from March 12 – 19, 2023, and witness the Biggest Sailing Festival in the Philippines.

Paraw Photo Contest

Capture that most beautiful shot and share with the world how you see the festivity by joining the Paraw Photo Contest. The theme is: “Sailing through the Waves of Ilonggo Traditions and Progress”.

Participants may capture the grandeur of the paraw sailboat competition, slalom, lighted paraws, and sinamba sa regatta scenes or the varied actions of competing paraws, crews, and dancers as they perform to win the race/contest. Also, they can capture humans’ interactions and reactions while witnessing the events.

Best-Tasting Lechon Competition

A new addition to the competition is also the competition for the best-tasting lechon. Villa is arguably the home of delicious lechons of Iloilo and eating this dish while enjoying the festivities takes it to a higher level.

The event is happening on March 19, 2023. Major prizes of the competition include: Iloilo City’s Best Tasting Lechon Champion, 1st Runner Up, 2nd Runner Up,  BEST LIVER SAUCE and BEST DECORATION/PRESENTATION. You can check the full guidelines here.

Lighted Paraw Competition

The return of the Paraw Regatta Festival post-pandemic is indeed bright and sparking with this new Lighted Paraw Competition. It will happen on March 19, 2023, at Tatoy’s Manokan Villa Beach, Iloilo City in partnership with the City Government of Iloilo, Iloilo Festivals Foundation, and JCI Iloilo.
