UPV Strengthens Collaboration with Pandan LGU

UPV Chancellor Clement Camposano and Pandan, Antique Mayor Tomas Estoperez have agreed to collaborate on more programs that will benefit Pandan and the nearby towns of Antique and Aklan. This was after the initial meeting between the two heads at the Pandan Municipal Hall on December 20, 2022.

Also discussed during the talks was the UP Antique Extension Campus and its target opening in the early part of 2023. Training programs on fisheries and local crafts are expected to be the initial offerings by next year, which will be followed by a Master of Education program in the future. The meeting was facilitated by Anna Razel L. Ramirez, UPV Project Development Assistant for Antique.

Currently, the structure for the extension campus is 95% completed according to the report of the Campus Maintenance and Development Office Engineers led by Engineer Mario Morano, who also paid a courtesy call with Mayor Estoperez.

The construction of the UP Antique Extension Campus in Antique was made possible through a budget appropriation of former Deputy Speaker and now Senate President Pro Tempore Loren B. Legarda in the amount of P50 million. The extension campus is located beside the highway of Brgy. Nauring, Pandan, Antique. (IPO)
