OVCAA Holds Workshop on Program Redesign, Blended Learning, and QA

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs held an activity entitled Workshop on Program Redesign, Blended Learning, and Quality Assurance on August 12, 2022 at the UPV Little Theater, Iloilo City Campus.

In his opening message, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Philip Ian Padilla said the workshop serves as preparation for the blended learning setup next academic year. Moreover, degree programs should plan for external quality assurance as part of the university’s continuous enhancement of its academic programs.

Division and department chairpersons and program coordinators presented their degree programs’ modes of blended learning during the morning session. The afternoon session, on the other hand, was dedicated to the presentation of quality assurance plans and proposals.

Deans, associate deans, college secretaries, program and GE coordinators, and QA officers attended the workshop. Dr. Hanny John Mediodia, Prof. Lindley Kent Faina, Dr. Jhoanne Marsh Gatpatan, and Prof. Jude Vincent Parcon served as moderators of the activity. (Ms. Roeyna May Famisaran, OVCAA)
