The post published by Mayor Jerry Treñas writes, “We sent a request to the IATF to allow some business establishments to operate as we see a terrible plight of our fellows belonging in these sectors. We are hoping for their consideration as we try to move towards recovery”.

On the mentioned dates, protocols may be lighter but the virus is still present in the community. It is still expected that every Ilonggo must remember that the actions of one take a huge part in the battle against the unseen enemy.

For the salient points about the updated status, the Iloilo City Government has provided an infographic for an easier understanding what are and are not allowed under MECQ.
