UPV Grad Places 10th in the Recent Licensure Exam for Teachers

Mylen Quinanahan Piosca, a graduate of the BS in Public Health program of the College of Arts and Sciences at UP Visayas, placed 10th in the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Teachers (Secondary Level).

Piosca obtained an overall rating of 92.4%. A total of 71,080 new teachers (50.94%) of the 139,534 examinees, passed the examination in October this year.

UP Visayas also placed 2nd in the top 10 performing schools for the secondary level, garnering 100% total passers for schools with 50 to 100 examinees.

The LET was administered by the Professional Regulation Commission in at least 34 locations across the country as well as Bangkok, Thailand. (Ms. AL Ramirez, IPO)
