KISU – Kapehan sa Kilid Suba: Coffee Stopover

KISU is an acronym for “Kapehan sa Kilid Suba” which means “coffee shop beside the river” in English. It offers Ilonggos a different venue to enjoy a cup a coffee. The place targets more those who are riding their bicycles and motorcycles. But everyone is welcome to stop over.

KISU Halayan

They call their parking space as “halayan” and the parked bikes as “hinalay”. In Hiligaynon, hinaláy means laundry put out in the sun to dry is called but in Tagalog hinálay means abused, violated, or raped.

How to Get There

This kapehan is located at CPU FA Heritage Ville, Pavia, Iloilo. As mentioned, it is quite challenging to reach the area if you are not riding your bike or motorcycle. For commuters, you can ride Pavia jeepneys from the terminal and follow the map provided.
