The Ilongga Bicycle Diaries: A Collection of Personification Essays is a passion project of Kasingkasing Press and Hubon Manunulat. Its main purpose is to invite all Ilongga bike enthusiasts to tell their cycling experience in Iloilo City during the pandemic through creative nonfiction or essay. It also aims to further strengthen the voice and hear the narrative of women especially when it comes to ordinances and practices related to biking such as the ongoing bike development in Iloilo City.

The editors of this project are specifically looking narratives that are contextualized during the pandemic, set in Iloilo City or at least mentions Iloilo City, focused on the personal experience of a woman as an Ilongga, and have a challenging voice and argument.
