Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas received on July 23, 2021 the certification affirming Iloilo City Hall as compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The Iloilo City Government also implements their own unique digital contact tracing application, USWAG TRACER, which has been useful in identifying and validating close contacts since 2020.
The Safety Seal can only be issued to private and public establishments that have met the requirements based on the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-01.
What is a Safety Seal?
Safety Seal is a physical manifestation of the compliance of an establishment to the minimum health standards required by the government to contain the spread of the COVID-19.
For government facilities and establishments, it is the DILG-PNP-BFP who issues the seal. However, for the private sectors, it is the respective LGU issues it.
Important:
- Safety Seal is for free.
- The Seal is to be on display on the conspicuous places (visible to all visitors). (i.e. entrances, counters, doors, reception)
- It has a 6-month-validity period.
- You must renew it not earlier than one month before the expiration. (5th month)
