Iloilo City Pays Out DOLE-Tupad Beneficiaries

The City Government was able to pay out today, July 11, a total of 345 beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment-Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (DOLE-TUPAD).

The workers were assigned to help in the declogging projects and market clean-up of the City Engineer’s Office.

They rendered service from June 13-27, receiving P450 per day.

DOLE-TUPAD is implemented through the City Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

It is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed.
