Through the efforts of the Mayor of Iloilo City, the Hon. Jerry P. Treñas, Iloilo City has public art spaces and the arts have thrived, Iloilo, today has an unrivaled public art scenery. Iloilo’s advocacy to be an Arts Center of the Philippines is further cemented in this gathering of over 180 artists and artworks from more than a dozen art groups that will run till December 30.

Each Art Group has curated their artists’ space and their works to bring the audience to new perspectives. It is a feast for the senses.
No one Ilonggo artist has the same style.
This shows the diversity of the people, the environment, and the experiences that are all expressed on the canvass or by sculpture or their performances.
Come in and see our world through the local artists’ eyes.
This exhibit is a glimpse into the Ilonggo culture and heritage, into their character and traits, into their daily lives – their thought and emotions, passion, and love.
