March is Fire Prevention Month

The Iloilo City Government through the Public Information Office (PIO) and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) turned over Information Education Communication (IEC) materials to city Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The intensified IEC campaign is in time with Fire Prevention Month this March.

Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon, PIO head Ma. Lucy M. Sinay and CDRRMO head Donna P. Magno handed the IEC to City BFP Fire Marshal C/Insp. Melanie Habawel during Monday’s flag ceremony.

These included 7,890 flyers; 7,142 stickers; and 1,538 posters detailing safety tips and hotlines. (Iloilo City PIO)
