Iloilo City – Certificates of Appreciation for the barangay captains and stakeholders were given to 23 barangays for their compliance with the implementation of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and was given 5-star compliance by DSWD.

Iloilo City is thankful for the plaque of appreciation by the department in the city’s efforts to help the young children to be provided by basic education. The efforts of everyone are highly appreciated as we all build a better future for our children.
City Supports Early Childhood Education
The Iloilo City Government continuously supports the production of our workbooks, procurement of riso machines, reserving P9-Million worth of funds for each of the 12 Day Care Centers, and providing scholarship on early childhood education at West Visayas State University. Iloilo City Government will also be employing daycare workers and will provide benefits and allowances. This is the city’s initiative to promote the value of education for our younger generation.
