The DTI Guimaras Provincial Office – Negosyo Centers (NC) processed 164 Business Name Registrations for the first two months of this year. The data include applications for new and renewal of business names (BN).
The NC Jordan registered a total of 21 BN, NC Buenavista with 57 BN, NC Nueva Valencia with24BN, NC San Lorenzo with four (4) BN, NC Sibunag with five (5), and the provincial office processed a total of 53 BN.
For those wanting to register their business name, you may apply at the DTI Provincial Office or NC nearest you. Kindly bring along a fully filled-up registration form, a government-issued identification card, and your registration fee – P230, barangay; P530, city/ municipality; P1,030, region; and, P2030, national.
Or, you may opt to register online at bnrs.dti.gov.ph.
Aside from business registration, the NC also offers orientation on entrepreneurship once every month, and facilitates the registration of Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBEs), among others.
