COVID-19 Vaccines Have Arrived in Iloilo

Eighteen boxes of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in DOH 6 Coldroom Warehouse in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Frontliners and hospital employees can be vaccinated within 2 to 4 days. According to Dr. Mary Jane Juanico of DOH 6, 11 boxes of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine have also arrived in Bacolod City.

The Department of Health Western Visayas-CHD, led by Regional Director Dr. Emilia P. Monicimpo, received the COVID-19 vaccines today, March 5, 2021.

There is a total of 8, 438 frontliners and hospital employees from six hospitals across the region.

1,742 West Visayas State University Medical Center
1,500 St. Paul’s Hospital
426 Iloilo Doctor’s Hospital
1, 153 Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital
1, 493 Riverside Medical Center

Dr. Mary Jane Juanico said that the deployment of vaccines will start in the afternoon. Vaccination may begin as soon as the hospital receives the vaccines.
