This project is from the initiative of our beloved City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas through Iloilo City Public Library continuing project “A Library for JUAN: Bring JUAN to the Library, Bring the Library to JUAN” to support the needs of the children and to inspire them by the excitement of finding knowledge and by works of their imagination through reading.
The CIU Library would not be possible without the support of our City Mayor Treñas. Also to the City Councilors who extended their help to put up the Library, Councilor Love Baronda, Coun. Jay Treñas, Coun. Allan Zaldivar, Coun. Jojo Javellana and Coun. Candice Tupas.
We would like also to give Thanks to the Head of CSWDO Gene Garingalao, Supervisory in-Charge, Rapunzel Ann Ganzon, Carmelara Trabusas, OIC CIU and to the City Mayor representative, Executive Assistant, Fred Villanueva who joined and welcome us during our Launching.
