The Christmas season is indeed a time of giving, and the All UP Academic Employees Union-Iloilo Chapter (AUPAEU) chose to share simple blessings with the University’s security guards and janitorial services personnel.
In a simple turnover activity held at the Building 1, Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanology, College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences last 19 December 2022, 49 janitorial services personnel and 75 security guards received food packs they could take home to their respective families.
The giving of food packs is the organization’s way of showing these hardworking contractual personnel that their work is valued.
The Union officers and members are constantly working diligently to seek additional benefits for this contractual personnel, whose contributions to the University are significant. (UPV IPO)
