Liao shared this so home-based sastre, modista, mananahi may be able to replicate the design for the greater benefit of all.
List of Materials and Alternative Materials
Here is the liist of suggested materials for use.
1. Ecobag Fabric – (Polypropelene Nonwoven) as long as it is impermeable
2. Garter or String – the same one used in shoes or jogging pants
3. Velcro, Magic Tape, Snap Buttons or Zipper – for the opening in the back. You may also consult your medical profession if they prefer it to be in the back
4. Thread for the machine
5. Needles for the machine
Prototype I
Estimated materials for suit.
3 1/4 meters of Eco Fabric
2 1/2 meters of garter
1/4 meter magic tape or velcro
One roll of eco fabric is 100 meters it can make up to 28 suits for medium-built individuals.
Prototype 2
Prototypes for PPE/improvised Hazmat (hazardous material) suits already made. And will soon be ready for reproduction.
Hazmat Instead of Garbage Bags
Through the efforts of some private individuals, our front liners can soon use these instead of garbage bags and raincoats.
